Remember the $5 million of her own personal money that Hillary Clinton put into her campaign?  She definitely took a gamble by letting it be known her campaign was on the ropes financially, hoping that would energize her supporters to give. But it’s backfiring about as badly as possible right now.  Every dime of that $5 mil, and then some, just went up in smoke in 48 hours.  This fundraising widget from the Obama website:
