The media reached a bit of a milestone today when Jeanne Cummings over at Politico wrote the 1,000,000th headline of the 2008 presidential campaign containing the words “Gloves off.” Congratulations, Jeanne. Let there be no doubt among the masses that the proverbial gloves are indeed….. off. For further evidence, allow me to direct the reader’s attention to a recent national poll conducted by the highly regarded Gallup organization:
“In this 2008 presidential campaign, where would you say the gloves are?”
On – 18%
Off – 77%
Not sure – 5%

My goodness…those Gallup people will poll anything wont they? I heard they’ll be conducting a nationwide “Do you think Hillary Clinton is same sex oriented” poll sometime in the coming weeks.
Good to see you writing. Especially since I can’t keep up with all of the stuff going on in politics anyway, hopefully you can keep me informed (i hear they’re doing some sort of “presidential race” this year?)
