Lamest campaign video ever: “Hillary for you and me”

By Griffin · February 13th, 2008 · 2 Comments

This is bad.  Epic bad.  You couldn’t make a campaign video this lame if you tried.  Not only does it look like it was produced in the late ’80s, but the music sounds like it was written and sung by the American Idol season one rejects.  Whenever I see a commercial on TV with a lame jingle like this, I think: You know, somebody actually sang that.  Like, somebody stood in a studio with one finger in their ear and really thought they were breaking it down, like “Whooaa, whoooa, yeah, come on down and turn that frown…. upside-down at BOB’S TOYOTAAAA NOOOW!!”

When you watch this video, try to imagine the people who stood in the studio singing and honestly thinking: “By golly, this is really gonna get young folks fired up for Hillary!”

UPDATE: This video is the gift that keeps on giving. Focus on the guy dancing from 2:14 to 2:10. It’s all about him.
